Swimming for Kids

Our program is divided into a number of levels based on age and swimming ability. If you are a new member, please contact our Aquatics Director,for a free assessment prior to registering.

Swimming for Adults

The YMCA Active Adult Swim Program is designed for adult learners ages 16+. We are currently offering a Stroke Technique course and private lessons.

Have you reached a point where progress and advancement in your exercise routine has slowed down, or come to a stop? Or perhaps you're feeling less motivated to work out, or simply aren't sure what to do to spur new results...

Our experienced YMCA personal trainers can guide you, and provide you with sound knowledge, technique, and program feedback to help you achieve your training goals.

Personal training sessions can cover:
  • Weight loss
  • Rehabilitation from injury
  • Sport-specific and athletic training
  • Mass & strength building
  • Cardio/endurance training
  • General programming

Peggy Anderson
Peggy has been involved in sports and activities from a young age; from dance to softball to synchronized swimming, as both an athlete and a coach. Shebegan volunteering as a fitness instructor at the Y in early 2015 and taught boot camp, strength and conditioning, synergy and cycle classes. Shewas certified as a Spin instructor in the early months of 2019. In 2018 Shewas certified as a personal trainer at the Y. Her main interest is functional fitness and my goal is to support and encourage people of all ages to live a healthy, active lifestyle.

Rob Friedt
Rob specializes in functional training using kettlebells, TRX, ropes, etc. He’s here to encourage, motivate, and guide you through your personal health and fitness journey... whether that’s increasing strength and muscle, improving your sport, losing weight, or just feeling and moving better. With years of experience in both individual and group training, Rob is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and CanFitPro, and is a YMCA certified Group Fitness Leader.
Program Design Package

This package is perfect if you are seeking a new routine, need assistance with exercise choices, technique and programming. The Program Design option is ideal for those who are looking for guidance but prefer to train independently. This can be done in person or via virtual training.

Personal Training

This option is excellent for all ages and fitness levels, and provides a fun and exciting atmosphere, designed to teach you proper technique, exercise programming, and supply extra coaching and motivation. Whether you choose one-on-one, or group training, we have flexible package options to suit your needs.
